Can you say “Specially Selected Scent Shard for SHARDS Subscribers“? And then can you say, “I slit the sheet, the sheet I slit, and on the slitted sheet I sit“? That one’s trickier (heh heh). But if you’re a SHARDS blog subscriber (or subscribe by Sunday night), you’ll be in the drawing for this earthenware Scent Shard. It’s pretty, with its little bee and its B Beautiful stamp. I even have a box ready for mailing, so good luck!
Despite the cold weather, it looks like my art opening at La Vida is a go. Hope to see you there, but if it turns icy and scary, stay home! Here’s something interesting to learn if it is, in fact, a stay-at-home weekend. It’s a free program I use with my students called Code Academy. If you have a geek gene, you might like to learn how webpages are made. Take a look – you can even earn badges for your progress. And if technology isn’t your thing, then browse the free classes at CraftArtEdu. There are a ton of creative videos there, including mine on composition. Have a lovely weekend!
Since I work nearby, I am planning to stop by. But, if it is called off, I will just go home.
Thanks, Lyn!!
I’m still enjoying making boxes from a previous Friday Freebie!! So this is a great site even for browsing.
Cheers!!

What fun tongue twisting! Woke up to -18 below zero this morning, burrr, cold.
Please send any warm air you can spare this way. I have some of my clay faces hanging on my new primitive (made from old beadboard) Christmas tree. Plan to post on facebook after I pound a few more hooks for hanging into it
Sweet drawing!
Send pics! Can’t wait to see!
I need to purchase some shards and oils from you for my friends Christmas presents. See you in a few hours, I will be surprising Carole, she doesn”t know I am coming unless she reads this blog.
it was great to see you – Carole said it was hard not to call you Ms. Mitchell!
This would Bee the most Beautiful Scent Shard ever! Love the combinations.
Awwwwwwwww – that’s a neat comment – you clever girl.
I’m pretty new to your blog, but have fallen in love with your work and am looking forward to receiving some of your faces to incorporate into new pieces. Happy Holidays to you! 🙂
Juliette, thanks so much for the orders – I love you sense of design and am so glad to be in touch with you. Yay!
Hi Lyn,
Just a note to let you know that I love the Scent SHARD – very cool. Is that a mouse at the bottom?
Hope your Thanksgiving was great and wish you the same for the remainder of the holiday season. Enjoy and hope all goes well this weekend.
Sue
