You know how sometimes you recommend sources just because you like their stuff? That’s the way I feel about Mulberry Papers and More – I’ve been ordering from them for a long time and have their link on my sidebar. Here’s an example of the kinds of papers you can order from them for about $5 – a giant (2’x3′) sheet of Marbled Momi Paper.
Anyway, I got a nice email from the president of the company saying they’d gotten some traffic from SHARDS and were sending a $5 gift card that I could use as a Friday Freebie. Pretty cool!
That’s half of this week’s Freebie, and the other half is from me – a kit to make your own Lotus Book (with directions, of course). So one lucky SHARDS subscriber, new or old, good or bad, will be in a drawing for a $5 gift card to Mulberry Papers and More plus a Lotus Book Kit from yours truly. Thanks, as always, for subscribing to SHARDS and supporting what goes on at the Studio. Good luck, and happy weekend!
What lovely paper… Will be going to their site, for sure.
Have seen their papers before…awesome and fun to work with!
Paper is my guilty pleasure. We have moved a lot but I have to tell you the paper always comes with me. Thanks for the link.
Such beautiful papers! Always love your work! And you are so generous with sharing your ideas and creative spark. Thank you.
Hi Lyn… I LOVE Mulberry papers too! Your work always continues to inspire me. Maybe our Muses are related!
Best to you this weekend and beyond,
Sweet blessings, Chris

I just clicked on the link to the paper company to have a peek. Beautiful papers! Your little book looks pretty…. These oriental papers somehow have a serene quality that is wonderful for journals and other projects.
Wow! What wonderful freebies. You are so generous with sharing your knowledge and art as well as the opportunity to win some fun prizes. Thanks!
I’m glad you guys like their selection – I have to admit, I buy papers from them and then hate to cut into them, especially the lace papers or the ones with flowers imbedded. Margaret, I agree with you about the serene quality of the Asian papers. You could probably cover a toilet paper roll with one of them and it would look like an elegant art object! Actually, the Twiggie workshop starts that way!

Thank you all for the great comments – ♥
