Curated eye-candy for inspiration

In between the raindrops and the workshops, there’s always a little time to get inspired by the work of other artists whose images just seem to jump out and grab you. I have a folder on my computer for works like these. Invariably, they give me a creative push.

Here are four who you may not know about. You can click on their names for links to their websites and more of their amazing work, all different countries, all different media.

Sharon Griffin – United Kingdom

I like to be inspired by a narrative which mirrors or tells a story of an everyday moment in life. I am searching for a sense of deeper meaning within human form; stories of loves and losses; characters from a play; a response to a news article.

Dorothy Caldwell – Ontario

My work is a map of land and memory.
I am interested in the landmarks that give a sense of place and how humans mark and visualize the land.

Leah MacDonald – Pennsylvania

My work is a dialogue between my imagination, my curiosity, my imperfections and my desires. I express the tales of womanhood, sharing stories through form, color and texture.

Philippe Rillon – France

On the verge of abstraction he practises a paradoxical painting where reality is pure paradox.

Stay safe, happy, and inspired!
